  1. Normal, no. Normally the brain fills all the extra space. This could be a natural thing, bleed on the brain, trauma, or many other things. What is the reason for getting the MRI, most medical diagnosis starts with the symptoms to need a test like a MRI.


  2. No, it does not normally, but that isn't necessarialy a catastrophic thing, what did the doctor say? (since I am assuming one spoke to you about this MRI, or where did you get it??)

  3. The MRI could just be looking at the head at a strange angle. If all of the pictures look like that then she really does have a space, but that could just be an anomaly.
