Does the sony mylo work as a cell phone too?

im lookin at the sony mylo, but not sure if i should go for it or not.

im just wondering, is it a cell phone as welll? or only a messaging/internet device?

does anyone noe?

It cannot make calls on a cellular network like a regular phone.

However, it does come with Skype whiche lets you enjoy free Internet phone calls to and from any Skype enabled device and PC, anywhere in the world! Or Skype-Out to any phone number for a nominal fee.

To use Skype, you'll need to be connected to a wifi hotspot that allows you to access the internet.

FYI, for those folks who travel a lot and want high speed "3G" internet access while on the road for their laptops or their gadgets like an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, or a Sony PSP/Mylo/PS3, or Nintendo Wii/DS or Nokia 770/800/810 tablet, an Archos 605 WiFi, or even the Chumby... take a look at this article:
