  1. It depends on your service provider, the distance between you and your local phone exchange and the number of subscribers they have in your area.


  2. Since you have dial-up, Web surfing is generally limited by your 55KBps connection. If you have a decade-old Celeron, this may be different, but even my biege PowerMac with a G3 266 is far faster on broadband than I ever remember a dialup PC being.

    On another note, any P4 2.0GHZ or faster PC with at least 512MB of RAM will not be a bottleneck. This is a rough number of course, but generally, think that computers over about five years are a bit less responsive on Flash-heavy sites.

  3. In the most cases: The internet server. When you are downlaoding files etc its on the internet server. But if you have a crappy computer, that like have no ram, it could use some more time then other computers to load a webpage

  4. both.if your pc is slow, the net will be slower. get firefox browser because it goes faster
