Does the standards of the Cult of Domesticity still continue today?

You bet.  Otherwise, why would highly educated men tend to marry less-educated women who stay at home?  I would think people would want to marry someone with a similar education level as them.  

And why else would women feel pressured to stay at home and feel guilty for having a career and leaving their children in childcare?

And why else would so many women in college be "pre-wed" and getting their "Mrs." degree rather than truly seeking an education that will contribute to their personal/intellectual growth?
