  1. this is just his stats with the Brewers they dont include his Indian stats

  2. Stats get reset if the player switches leagues (example: Griffey from Reds - NL - to White Sox - AL). Stats from their old team are usually combined though.

  3. No, the TV station you were watching was just showing either what happened in the game, or what happened since they've been traded.  Stats stay with a player for the year no matter how many trades hes placed in.  Any stats acquired while being on the team the player got traded to are added onto the stats he was working on while he was with his old team.

  4. no thats just wat CC was wen he was w/ the brewers. he still have how many Ks

  5. No, that's only the station you were watching informing you on what that player's done since being traded.  Stats are stats and no matter how many times you get traded, they stick with you.

  6. When a player changes leagues he starts with a new slate, so to speak. His stats from his former team are still part of that league's record but he generates new stats for his new team/league.

If you check the player's stats since the trade you'll find lines for his AL and NL stats are separate. This also applies if a player changes teams within a league during the season; stats accumulated with different teams are listed separately.

  7. Everyone is all around the answer.

Only when a player changes LEAGUES does his stats reset.  If he were to be traded say from Cincinnati to St. Louis his stats would continue although the media you are watching would mention his numbers since the trade on a regular basis.

I believe it has to do with the stats champs although it has lesser value in the realm of interleaue play (blech).

  8. On SportCenter (and a few other TV Shows and Internet Sites) they reset the stats so that it only shows the stats of a player for that current team. But officially, the players whole season stats will be recorded in the stat books (and most notably MLB.com). If you look at a site like BaseballReference.com or a different site, it will have 3 different rows for a person that has been traded. 1 for the Total stats for that year. Another for the stats with his original team and the last for the stats with the newer team.

  9. no your stats dont reset but you do get new stats with your new team...like say you a pitcher and your record was 6-0 and you got traded you loose than your record for your new team is 0-1 but you still will have your overall stats which would be 6-1 and sooo on
