Hearts lonely

Reaching

Another for

Shelter

Storm surges sweet

Against waves of

Sadness that drown

Souls in lost motions

Breathing last breaths

Diurnal pools of change

Ebb and flow through me

Lifting one settling another

Currents tugging together

Directing me to sea

To see

  1. I m not so sure..

.. there is  a deafening calm before each and all of my storms..

an almost tepid feeling in the air morbidly and succinctly encompassing me..

    To see... the Sea?

    ..how far in the sea?

       will you reserve

    a spot for me?

  2. LOVED IT.especially diurnal pools of change ebb and flow through me.I've weathered this storm.Carried an umbrella for a long long time.

    But then sunshine.

  3. Now this I love!

To answer your question, it goes both ways.

  4. Lovely poem, melancholy message, yet somehow tranquil.

  5. But which sea carries you to the shores of home, which storm tosses you into a calm that can be even more frenetic than the one you left. How can you leave time and chance to intervene mercilessly? All this, do I ponder, rocked gently on the waves of your poem. Thank you.

  6. I liked the poem  Hmm... diurnal (an everyday occurrence), sounds cool and mysterious.

personal note: new number one for my wish list.  I need a diurnal jacuzzi with semi-wild semi-naked women who are also available for house cleaning and kitchen duty.

oh yea, the calm interrupts the storm.
