  1. We could only be so lucky.

  2. I wish.

  3. by all accounts, political correctness is no longer something that most people put a lot of stock into anyway. i think it's been deadish for quite some time now.

  4. I hope so......we, as a country, need to lighten up a bit.

  5. I can only hope so.  I'm tired of people in this country insisting that they be treated fair and equal and just like everybody else, yet use race to differentiate themselves every chance they get.   It's always "African American this" and "Asian American That" and "Mexican American who" and "Pacific Islander American where".  Can't we all just be AMERICANS?

  6. I doubt it. It looks pretty funny. But I am a bit taken aback at the mental disabled group that is against the movie. I haven't seen the movie yet so my opinion may change once I have. But it seems to me the intention of the movie was not to put people down. I think it's more intelligent than that based on the quality of the people in the movie. The sense I get from the movie is that we need to laugh more, lighten up. We seem to take too many things far too seriously. Is that wrong? This is the feeling I get from the previews and the critiques I have read.

  7. No, it shows that PC isn't as big a deal as people like to think. A movie that said "r****d" a lot and caused a lot of controversy and protest was shown across all cinemas and did very well. If PC was as big a deal as people like to pretend, then it wouldn't have been successful.
