  1. Yes it does, but not as a solid body. The sun is not solid, it is plasma, so different parts rotate at different speeds. At the equator it takes about 25 days, and slows down as you approach the poles. The average rotational period approaches 28-30 days.

  2. http://www.spaceweather.com

Yes it does.  Here is a great site that you can look at every day and watch it for yourself.  There is a lot of really good information on this site daily.  You will learn a lot here.  Enjoy

  3. Yes;the sun too rotates about its axis. But,unlike the earth, which has a rotation period of one day,the sun has a 'diiferential rotation'.That is,all parts of the sun do not have the same period of rotation.

The period of rotation near the equator is 26.9 days,at sun spot zone(16 degrees north) it is 27.3 days and at the pole it is 31.1 days.

  4. yes it does rotate. the poles take about 30-35 days, and towards the, equator, around 25 days. (because the sun is a ball of gas, and is not rigid)

the sun changes its magnetic poles every 11 years.

  5. Yes. It does rotate.

The sun takes 25 days to complete its rotation.

  6. no it does not the earth does

  7. Yes it does, and also changes its magnetic poles after a certain period of time.

  8. Yes it does it roates differetly faster in center and slower as you go towards the poles also every 11 yrs the poles change which is comming up soon right now the way the poles are we experence only a light to modreate amounts of sun spots which shot radiation at earth when it changes sun spot activity picks up which concerns people due to if we get hit dead on the radiation can cause all kind of problems anythime a alert goes out now plains that usally would fly over our poles are deverted and electric companies go on alert and cut back on energy going through the lines due to if we do get hit dead on with a large amount it would crash any plain over the poles and electic lines would surge and shut down our electric on top of any damage it had done before shouting down
