  2. Yes, the Sun has an axial rotation.

    Not everything has an axis. Some bodies have two, others tumble chaotically. An example of a Solar System body with two axes is the asteroid Toutatis. An example of a chaotic object is Hyperion, one of the Saturnian moons.

    A spinning object can have only one axis, by definition.  A tumbling object has multiple axes.
