  1. It's not as good as really getting in a good cleaning but it's great for a quick-daily clean up... They are nice because it's very quick and easy to do...

There are several brands and they are all similiar...I prefered the kind with the spray bottle but I know some people like the pre-moistened sheets... I think you just need to decide for yourself.

  2. No. I suggest going with a microfiber cloth product like StarFiber. You do not need to spend money on cleansers and nasty chemicals that cause health problems, use only water, and it still removes 99% of bacteria.

There are products built similar to but superior then the Swiffer by far. Go for a star shaped fiber. try this website or search Google to compare prices: http://www.microfiber-products-online.co...

  3. I was thinking of buying one and checked customer reviews of different floor cleaners online and I ended up getting a Bissell Flip Ease instead.  If you watch the Sunday sales papers they have sales on them at stores like Best Buy, Freds, and Kohls. The reason I chose it over the Swiffer is that it vacuums then you flip it over and it mops but also the pads are a washable thick microfiber instead of constantly have to buy the ones for the Swiffer. I am very happy with mine I was shocked that I could vacuum the entire downstairs(1300 sq. ft. of tile) and it not start to lose charge. The pad can do the whole floor as well and then you just wash it.

    I love mine.

  4. I have several Swiffer brand products and I use them to sweep, mop, and dust. I LOVE them. They are (like the commercials say) much easier and more efficient than the mop-and-bucket method. I like the Swiffer brand because I can get the starter sets and all accessories I need from Target, which is where I get most of my other cleaning supplies. Once you buy the starter sets the pads that go with it are not all that expensive. Overall, I would say - yes, they really work, and are worth the money! =)

Hope this helps in your decision making!

  5. I like having it around for emergencies...like when your floor is nasty and you have company coming over in a few minutes.  Otherwise, no not as good as a good old mop (I use the Wonder Mop because you can wash and reuse a clean mop head) and bucket.  However, the Swifter is better than nothing and is very convenient...

-I would recommend the spray because it takes several wet pads to clean a medium size kitchen.
