  1. The horror stories that everyone hears have very likely been blown out of proportion or details have been mixed up by the time you hear them. Do you believe everything you hear?

McDonald's has become so successful as it offers what the public wants: convenience food. Perhaps you should take a tour of a McDonald's to view the strict hygiene and safety standards in place, as well as fresh burger ingredients.

  2. its not the taste, theres a lot better food out there. yes, it is the convenience and the price. and also ruitine...people need to break themselves of ruitines.

  3. i doensn't stop me. everybody hates mcdonalds because of supersize me. but mcdonalds wasn't the only fast food place letting their customers eat unhealthy. it was everyone else. its just that mcdonalds got picked on.

  4. I think Mcdonald is nice.

    so what if its fattening.

everything is fattening, chinese food, indian, fish and chips etc.  and its cheap too.

its not skinny peoples fault if fat people are fat. they the ones who should avoid fast food restaurants

  5. You're far less likely to get food poisoning from McDonalds than you are anywhere else. At least there's a system to keep the place clean. There are far more restaurant horror stories than McDonalds horror stories. You should see some of these kitchens! you'd stop eating out. The only problem with McDonalds is that you eat it with your hands... (having just touched the door handles etc that a few hundred other people have already handled).

  6. yuck i dont like mcdonalds its so bad for you but im a vegetarian

  7. I suppose we try not to think about it or we would never eat at all in the end would we?

I remember watching a programme once about this and it made me heave, it was disgusting..

Generally anything i buy especially fruit and veg, i wash vigorously and the same with meat.  Of course i don't know who has handled this before me but if we go into that much our  minds would be working over time and you wouldn't want to eat, good way of losing weight i suppose...

  8. it has to be the taste and the convinience.

taste reminds us of experiences, and it must be quite happy ones for most people eating McDs on a regular basis.

and the mentality:"if eating c**p doesnt kill u something else might."

  9. I don't think McDonalds food has a very good reputation for taste but I go there because it's the most popular restaurant with my children.  The price, the convenience/speed and location are also things that I take into consideration.  When I am not taking the children with me, I tend not to go there, unless the alternative is too expensive.

  10. I wouldn't eat it. I think it is yuk.

My kids do though. I think it is convenience. A quick fix to hunger.

I got a salad bowl there a few weeks ago. Even that was yuk.

Two cherry tomatoes in a bowl of wilted lettuce.

I can foresee more heart disease in our youth in the years to come than we ever had with all the fast  junk food they eat now.

  11. I am not sure what "horror stories" you refer to, but without wanting to defend McD's in anyway - they have over 31,000 restaurants worldwide and compile 54,000,000 orders per DAY - in all that, something is bound to go wrong, isn't it?

  12. sometimes you just reeeallly fancy something bad

  13. It's because it's good, fast and we don't care.  I never ate at mcdonalds until I met my husband and then once we got married I felt like I couldn't control myself.  I wish I could, cause I gained 30lbs.  If you find the answer of how to stop eating let me know.

  14. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  15. yeah i think some people have lost their taste buds to be honest....theres way to much junk food that doesnt stimulate the pallet anymore...the convenience is what i think is the reason why people eat this stuff....we are welcoming a nation of lazy people who dont wanna cook at home anymore....sux really...
