Maybe, maybe not... It  could be so many different things, gangs, wanabees, someone who likes stars, just thought it was cool, home tattoo or by scratchers often do hands to look tough and because reputable artist often won't touch hands.

???? You can Google 'til the cows come home on this one, and get a ton of different answers. It might have been gang related, but now is just a 'cool copy' of the idea or attitude. Only the person who has it knows.

I live in Northern California, and usually it means he or she might be a sureno  gang member.  they tend to claim three dots/stars which represents 13

If it is , then my brother is a member , lol.  But I'm pretty sure it isn't , but there are always different groups of people with their own ink , and meaning for it.  If alot of shady people in your area have it , DONT GET IT .

no it's not gang related. star tattoos are the latest craze. all the young celebrities are getting them like lindsay lohan, ashley simpson, etc
