  1. My experience is that tetanus shots hurt.  I've had several over my lifetime and every time my arm is very sore for a few days.  Having said that, it's worth it to prevent getting tetanus, so don't be afraid.  Just do it, take some ibuprofen and you'll be fine.

  2. No...it should not hurt. You may feel some soreness. Beyond that, you'll not really know it happened shortly after.

  3. It doesn't seem to be that big of a deal for me.  You might have some muscle aches from it, but it really doesn't seem so bad.  Had to have my done a couple of years ago.

  4. No. It doesn't. Not at all.

  5. They make my arm get red, swell and hurt. Thank goodness they are only every ten years. That has happened to me every time I have had one (I'm 43).

  6. I find that the injection doesn't hurt much at all, but my arm feels like I got punched for a few days.

It beats the heck out of getting tetanus, though.

I can't believe how fast the decades go when you think of it terms of tetanus shots!

  7. some medicine burns but it only for sec or two and some med don't hurt at all .

  8. no not at all...I got one in 8th grade (1997) and another on this past Jan (b/c youre supposed to get them every 10 yrs) and it didnt hurt. However.....the arm that you receive the injection in will become sore a few days later when you lean on something or sleep on it....
