Does the track owners us tax money to biuld trace like they do to biuld Stadiums?

or to repair them. i am just wondering. i was going to say nascar but nascar don't own the tracks lol

  1. NASCAR is not owned by a person or family. It is a sanctioning body of which Brian France is CEO and chairman.

No.  Almost all NASCAR tracks are owned either by the France family (ISC) or Bruton Smith (SMI).  There are a few tracks independently owned (Indianapolis, Dover and Pocono).  However, ALL NASCAR tracks are completely funded by their owner, including all maintenance and repairs.  The only thing taxpayers pay for is all the policemen on traffic control!!

    And, NASCAR technically does own a lot of tracks.  NASCAR is owned/controlled by the France family, as is ISC.
