I was thinking about traveling to Pisa from Rome on my way to Florence by train. I just wanted to spend a few hours there and wanted to know if the train station has lockers to store my bags so I don't have to lug them around while I go site seeing. Thanks in advance!

  1. There's a baggage deposit office - you need to show your passport (id) when leaving baggage and when picking it up. The cost is 3 euro per bag.

  2. of course

    we're are not in Africa!!!!

  3. Pisa is not located on the train itinerary from Rome to Florence. If your hotel is in Florence you may leave there yr luggage and then hop on a different train from Florence to visit Pisa. It's an hour trip to go there but you'll need taking a different train since those ones arriving to Florence are not passing by Pisa.

I see from yr additional details you go as first to Pisa and then to Florence.

In this case at Pisa Centrale (Main Station) they've lockers to self-store your bags but sometimes they are sold out or out of service. In any case a left luggage office attended by an employee (3 Euro/luggage to 12 hours) is regularly working during the whole day .

Have a nice trip to Italy.
