Does the type of water that you have any affect on break out?

i was just wondering about that question. my skin is perfectly fine when i wash in my own house. but then when i go on trips to a different state or somewhere else, i always get maybe 1 or 2 pimples for some reason. i was wondering if this had anything to do with the different water im washing with and if it had affect on your skin

Different filtration systems are used in different places, especially overseas.  The different chemicals used can have adverse effects on your skin.  Could try washing face with bottle water and avoid water on face in shower in different places.

That happens to me too...

Maybe they put something different in their water and then your skin isn't used to it..

Yes, when I'm at my cottage, I'm the same way ..

The taps are all lake water, and my acne gets a lot worse.

I'm pretty sure the type of water has an affect on break outs.
