  1. nope. there's nothing over $100 bills.

  2. These bills were used for interbank trade but were being used frequently to launder money which led to their discontinuation.

They have about as much in common with bearer bonds as they do with circulating currency, but they do look like fun collectors items.

  3. The U.S. mint never made $500 notes but the Bureau of Engraving and printing did. The last series for the $500 as well as the $1000 was 1934C. The $500 note is quite scarce and commands more money as a collectors item. None of the 1934C series has ever shown up so for practical purposes the 1934A is still available as a collectors item. I believe the last time they were printed was the early 1960's and few were printed. The date on a note is not the date made but the date authorized and if there is a signature change a letter is added. The series 1934 or 1934A $500 note sells for around $700-$750 in the grade of fine and goes up to $1,300 or so for extra fine.

  4. nope they currently do not make bills over 100 dollars.

  5. The website for the US Treasury says nothing of a $500 bill.  Have to go with a "no" to answer your question.

Above website states there hasn't been a $500 bill in the US since 1946
