Does the universe have an end? O-O?

does the universe have an end?... i was staring at distant stars and remembered i heard (someone, somewhere, say) that it whould take... a few years to reach the end at super speeds O_o... but... how would anyone know that?... what do you suppose is at the end?... a big wall =]... what borders this... end... like you know the end of a race by a line or stupid guy with a flag... end of a rail way line by the... crashing off the track : )... but what do you suppose is at the end of the universe?...

The end is when you die because you can't tell the difference.

That's a good question!  I've wondered it myself.

I would expect that if you looked outward from the edge of the universe you would see only pitch black--no stars, nothing.  I wouldn't think there is anything like a physical wall, but that you just wouldn't be able to move any farther; you'd be stopped because outside the universe, there is no space to move into.  Where the universe ends, it ends--there is no space, or even vacuum, outside it.
