Does the us postal service deliver on weekends?

My item was shipped by the ebay seller 7/31/08(a thursday) and on the item delivery it said US Postal Service Priority Mail® 2-3 days, but that would mean it would/should be deliver either saterday or sunday. Does ups do it?

How do you know it has actually shipped? Did the seller give you a delivery confirmation number? Where are you located in relation to the shipper ?  2 to 3 days are business days, Sunday doesn't count. So I would expect your package on Saturday or Monday.

Both UPS and the USPS deliver on Saturdays.
