  1. What??

Please frame ur question correctly-it doesnt make sense?

    Anyway-

If u mean a Consulate has approved the Visa application, then Visa is stamped on the passport and the Passport containing the Visa is returned to the applicant.

  2. Once a US consular officer approves a visa, the applicant's passport is retained until the visa can be printed and placed inside it.  This normally can between several hours and several days, depending on that embassy's workload.  Once the visa is inserted and checked for accuracy, the passport with the visa in it is returned to its owner.
