Question:

Does the water from the dehumidifier effect my plants ?

I have a dehumidfier in my living room, and everyday I can get three gallons of water from it. I thought the humidity in DC was bad, but the humidity in Houston is much worse.

Anyway, I have been storing this water and using it to water my plants. Is this water ok for my plants or will it harm them ?

Thank you,

  1. You are on the right track. The dehumidifier water will not hurt your plants at all. We store all of our water from our dehumidifier and water our indoor plants, and have for years. In fact, we take the excess water and use it for our outdoor plants also. Every little bit helps the planet.

  2. I also live in houston  and yeah its pretty humid ..no it shouldnt affect the plants in any way
