I am a photographer and have original art prints for sale. Since the dollar is weak against European & Asian currency, would this help me sell photographs to individuals or art collections in countries in those regions?

  1. yes, but at what value ould your paintings be worth?

  2. Hi

would you like to share the worth of the photographs? If it is a good money I would still recommend to sell them in Europe and take the money back home and invest in real estate in US, because Europeans have a knack of art and photography than Asians.

  3. Since foreigners overseas (except in countries where the currency is pegged to the dollar) can buy dollars more cheaply than they used to be able to buy them, anything that you price in dollars will be cheaper for them this year than last.  Thus, for example, all goods made in the USA and priced in dollars are cheaper for most of the world than they used to be.  So, by all means, sell your work in dollars but remember, if you want to travel overseas, your dollars won't buy you as much as they used to.  Similarly, your dollars won't buy you as much imported cheese because it now requires more dollars to buy a pound of imported cheese than it used to.

  4. What are original prints?

As you know companies (or indivuduals) who buy their raw materials in a strong currency and then export them to a country with a week currency lose out. The dollar is week, sterling is week, euro is strong (at the moment)

  5. Hi!
