  1. i think that chad dawson is an awsome fighter and im glad he wont get to fight calzaghe as i think he would stand a good chance of winning, i think he would beat bernard hopkins with ease and i wouldnt mind that at all lol. i think that he could k.o anyone he fights in the light heavyweight division at the moment.

its a shame he has a no contest on his record though,im looking forward to seeing him rise in the ranks(wish he was british)

  2. I'm a huge Chad Dawson fan, and I would love to see him fight the winner of Hopkins-Calzaghe, but I really don't think that either of those guys is too keen on fighting a young, hungry fighter like Dawson.  Hopkins has recently hinted that the Calzaghe fight will most likely be his last.  And Calzaghe has stated that he only wants to fight like 2 times in the U.S. before he retires.  I think that if Calzaghe beats Hopkins, he'll defend the title against Roy Jones, Jr. and then he will retire.  He'll fight Jones instead of Dawson because Roy is a much more beatable opponent at this stage of his career and it is a much bigger money fight than a Dawson fight would be.  Its a shame too because Dawson deserves the shot more than Jones does and skill-wise, Chad is arguably the best 175 pounder in the world.  I think that Dawson will wind up fighting the winner of Woods-Tarver as long as he gets by Glen Johnson.  Woods or Tarver is not as good as Calzaghe or Hopkins, but its an acceptable replacement, and its not Dawson's fault that the other top guys are avoiding him- he's just that good.

  3. ye ye i think it should happen that way because then when Calzaghe is finished knocking Hopkins into next year he can then knock Dawson out and bring the title home to Britain

  4. calzaghe will fight will fight roy jones junior after hes domolished hopkins and then he should come home to wales for his last fight and take on clinton woods

  5. The winner should, but they wont. Neither will want to risk losing to the man considered the best light heavyweight right now. If Calzaghe wins, he'll probably fight Jermain Taylor at 168 and if Hopkins wins he'll probably fight Roy Jones.

  6. If Hopkins wins, he'll probably retire unless he can get Roy Jones into the ring.  He's not going to fight anyone unless there's big money on the line.  I think Roy needs money and might take a fight with Bernard.

If Calzaghe wins, he will probably fight Taylor at 168 or try to get Pavlik to move up to 168.

The best outcome for both guys might be a really good fight with a close decision.  That could mean a rematch.

  7. it should happen that way

  8. Yes thats thow the  boxing system should work but it dont. Promoters mess it all up.
