  1. Why should they?  It's called fiction, authors don't need to do what their characters do, or experience what their characters experience..

    .

  2. It's *fiction*.

  3. very few, most books are based on fiction. but there are a few stories based on facts such as the" Entity" book and movie. those cases are rare. most stories are great imaginations.

  4. Most chances are that they aren't. It's the same thing with all writers, they make up books to entertain people with fantasy. If it was real, it would be non-fiction. Like an autobigraphy or maybe a biography. But not for fiction. I really hope this helps you.

  5. some how they must be...and in multiple ways

  6. No it's fiction.Like most people they know it's not real.Read their autobiographies and you'll see.Like Magicians, most authors are not likely to buy into the supernatural.

  7. Probably not -they are expressing their fantasy in attractive for the readers logic, but it is not excluded that part of the described events come from their life experience.

I believe that some of these writers have a mission. to tell us things inspired in them by our supervising cyborgs.

  8. No, they use thier imagination and many of them base their stories on dreams. A number of famous horror writers have drug problems and sleeping disorders giving them a weird and different perspective on life.

Many of the stories are based on real life to some degree, but most of the horror and paranormal stuff is pure fiction and imagination.

  9. they should be. maybe they were inspired by their feelings?
