Does they massage your glutes when you get a swedish?

some do, some dont w/ me, so, is it the norm?

Its not uncommon for them to massage your glutes however some massage therapists will not.  If they do a proper massage, they should ask you if u want your glutes massaged, they don't just go ahead and do it.  Some therapists though, dont do it, so they won't even ask you.

There isn't any norm-it is what the massage therapist wants to do, what you need and what areas of the body are tight.

Massaging the gluts is important if you are dealing with back pain and other things related to postural distortions of the pelvis.

Always ask for what you want in a massage.  If you want the gluts massaged ask for it.  If you don't want them massage tell them not to.
