Does this United States Marine know something we don't know about?

A Marine stated they are going to help the country of Georgia to help push the Russian military out of Georgia like they did in 1991 when Iraq invaded Kuwait. The USA will attack the Russian forces in the next three weeks.

would you mind identifying the marine you are referring to, i really doubt that we are in a position to or are ready to take on russia, we don't have land based planes, based within range of georgia, except b-2's and doubt we'd risk that kind of conconfrontationn with russia at thistime especiallyy this close to election time, unless the rusky's make a threat against us openly

No, in the first place Marines would not be involved with any such operation. It would be an Airborne blocking action to engage the Russians and proved a secure rear area for follow on forces, namely the 101st and their Apaches.

The Marines would never play a part until many days after hostilities and not until the Russian Naval blockage was eliminated. Once the ports were clear, the Marines could participate, but Russia will have withdrawn long before this could happen.

Where are your sources of these "The USA will attack the Russian forces in the next three weeks". I'm sorry i dont think they will attack Russia they way you think they are. Maybe the troops stationed there will help Georgia but will Bush send troops there?No i doubt it unless he wants to make something very small and turn it into something huge. Even George Bush is smarter than that. I know hard to believe.

There is no way that Bush would make this mistake. However if you want to cause a national emergency, declare martial law, stop the election, etc, it may be the way to go.
