Does this affect morning sickness?

ok I'm 17 and i am 15 weeks pregnant with triplets, the past week ive got sick 3 times a day is that normal morning sickness or should i go to the doctor?

Normal.  You have increased hormones with the multiples which is going to magnify everything in the pregnancy.  Try a Hershey kiss at the bedside and eat one or two before rising in the am, crackers and bland stuff throughout the day.  You need to worry about dehydration which can lead to contractions and just generally feeling like crud.  There are 3 anti-nausea drugs that are used in pregnancy.  Talk to your doctor if you want to try something.  Zofran is great but $$.  Phenergan is great but makes you sleepy- on most wal-mart $4 generics.  Reglan is good and cheap.  This however is used as an adjunct most times and not a primary med.

PS I tried the anti-emetic bracelets...do not work and hurt!

Yes, its totally normal.  However, you don't want to lose weight, esp. with triplets.  So the doctor probably will want to know if youre not keeping food down, so he can give you something to help the babies stay healthy.

There is no such thing as normal morning sickness..so you fit right in with the rest of us. Anytime of any day you can be sick. As long as you are still eating and not loosing weight then don't worry. If you can't eat and you are losing weight you will need to let your doctor know.
