Does this camera actually exist?

It's called a Vivitar: V3800.

I have a catalog my Photography teacher gave me and the camera is in that. But every number I call say they've never heard of it!

I even went to the catalogs website( servicephoto.com ) and it wasn't listed there either.

I've tried Ritz Camera, Wal-Mart, Target Bestbuy, CircuitCity, Sears, JCPenny's, Vivitar.com and I've done a web search on the camera.

But still nothing!

Does this camera exist and, if it does, where can I find it?

Vivitar V3800 is similar to Promaster 2500PK, and a Cosina camera ( don't remember model number). They are probably made in the same factory for different people.
