  1. Diarrhea can have many causes other than the two you mentioned.  It can be dangerous and life threatening if the dog becomes too dehydrated, as stated above.  If the dog can't get up due to weakness or lack of energy, take it to the vet immediately.

Please get your sister to take the dog for the care it needs!  We can't give it what it needs.

  2. Has she seen any vomiting? If the symptoms include vomiting and watery diarrhea, it sounds like parvo. She needs to take the dog to the vet and get the proper tests done whether it is worms or parvo.

  3. would suspect parvo over worms

  4. If the dog has not been vaccinated for parvo, it can be either one.  No matter what it is diarrhea, not drinking, no appetite can all cause dehydration quickly.  A trip to the vet is in order no matter what the cause.

  5. it could be anything,it might of eaten sumthing thats made it sick, could be sum sort of poison around the home or backyard,or blood poisoning from fleas, allergic 2 sumthing, parvo happens pretty quick aswell and its a slow painful death 4 them and if theres any othere dogs around it they could catch it 2! but no matter what she needs 2 take it 2 the vet, even if she cant afford it you just ring the vet and explain the situation they then can give her proffessional advice and maybe even make a payment plan aswell, vets are pretty understanding with these kind of things coz they no the best interest is in the animals health.

  6. Not to much to go on, but if a dog has diarrhea and won't eat or drink, the dog needs to see the vet immediately.
