So I was thinking that if you would like to get better at a sport, what better way than just doing it then adding resistance to it. For example if you are into mixed martial arts, you can practice free fighting with clothes with weights on them. Like this your body can get a more difficult feel of the sport and it will be easier when you actually fight. So I'm asking to see if clothes with weights attached to them exist because it would be a freaking amazing idea if it can happen.

  3. There are weight vests, ankle weights, and wrist weights. Just put these one and train with them. It will do the same thing as what you're describing.

  4. Yes, some football and basketball player train with weighted vest or ankle weights. this forces their muscles to adapt to the added weight. the end results are quicker reaction time, faster movements, and more power.

  5. They probably do exist although I'm not sure if they're widely used or not. In Dragon Ball Z, Goku wears weighted clothes :P

    You have to be careful when wearing weights around ankles and wrists. Most trainers advise not to do it because it stresses the joint too much if you punch or kick and can cause injuries. But having weighted clothing probably wouldn't cause this problem, so it seems like a great idea!

  6. along with the weighted vests, ankle weights, wrist weights...theres also bands that you can train your kicking and punching that help not by only adding positive resistance but negative as well.  The elastic, when stretched, wants to come right back and controlling the return of these things is a good little training tip to practice determined control and negative resistance.  there are the kind you attach to a wall and there are also the kind you use your entire body with.  

  7. how about holding weights? Thats what i do, hold 2-3-5 pound weights in each hand and throw combinations, when you drop the weights you feel on fire and punch twice as fast
