I love advice from you guys ;p

Okay so first day of school, I had to get my program because the one they gave me on Friday was blank. Last year I wasn't in school due to family issues, so I missed a year and got left back. Anyways, I go to the guidance counselor, then he sends me to this guy down the hall. I was tired, not in the mood, slouching, but I walked in the room and a girl that looked like she was only 18 was sitting next to the doorway, and I straightened myself up. I thought she was a student but the other guidance counselor was showing her how to do things. She was looking at me and I smiled at her [I smile at everyone] and she smiled back. Needless to say she's very pretty. He told her to sit in his chair and she started making my program, and he left the room every now and then for a couple of minutes [It was so awkward] I would look at her and she refused to look at me. I started playing an eye game and looked at her more but she stared at the computer. When he came back for the last time, he asked her to get up so he can fix the rest of my program. She stood next to the desk. I was looking at him but I felt her staring at me, and she was, smiling. I smiled back, and she literally darted her eyes at the computer.

After like being an hour in that room, I left and said thank you, he just waved, but she said "No problem,um, your welcome; Byeee!"

Lmfaooo.

I think I have a case of wishful thinking, but then again I think of her body language and it was out of the norm.

What do you think?

  1. i think it was just an akward moment i dont think she likes u

  2. If you looked at eachother like that then....

Yep. She wants you.  Lol...if you felt it, she probably did too.

Trust me, I've had to become an expert on this body language thing (woman Im in love with.. long story) BUT be careful. She could just be friendly- do you know if shes bi/les or dating a guy.

My suggestion: oh she sounds like a student/teacher, is she? Well then thats hot. Nways, see her again and just try and find out more about her, no harm in that...*coughs*. Good luck!

  3. You are very observant and smart. I agree with you! Are you butch?

  4. There's no way any of us [who weren't there] to "judge" the situation -- let alone determine what she may have been thinking.

People look at other people all the time.  People avert their eye contact all the time.  There are myriad reasons why, my dear -- trust me, just looking at someone and smiling doesn't mean someone is smitten with that person.

The woman was obviously some sort of new administrative assistant -- and the last thing you want to do is be hitting on staff members at your school.  Having missed an entire year, you have far more pressing matters to attend to.
