Question:

Does this guitar pickup combination work?

I'm thinking of replacing my stratocasters pickups with some new ones but im not sure if this combination will work, any help would be appreciated

  1. I always suggest Seymour over EMG for Fender stratocasters. The Seymour are really awesome and extremely pure output.

    If you put that combination method, I wouldn't touch the middle pickup and leave the original stratocaster but, but it is up to you. Your own decision.

    If you need deformity, use the HM-2 Boss heavy metal distortion to get a nice clean sweep sound.

    Again, replace the bridge and neck but leave the center. If you make a decision later, you can always change the middle but, the way you wire the bridge and the neck, you will still get a lot of centers. You are getting the best of both worlds by not taking out the mid pickup.

    Again, replace the bridge and neck but leve the middle. If you decide later, you can always change the middle but, the way you wire the neck and the bridge, you will still get a lot of mids. You are getting the best of both worlds by not removing the mid pickup.
