Does this happen to anyone..?

For some reason out of no where I know when something is going to happen. It's really weird. Out of no where I know when something is going to fall or when something is going to happen. It happens either a couple of minutes later or weeks later or even years! Has this happened for anyone.

The Amazing Randi notwithstanding, this is common.  I've been able to track a few of the really weird cases to information i had at the time. Like the time i returned a wallet that was dropped in the snow to a neighbor that i'd never seen before. I was grilled on how i'd done it, and just claimed that i was psychic. What could i say - i had no idea. It was quite a stretch that i could have figured that much out subconsciously, but possible.  But a few cases remain that are beyond weird.

For example, a week before the blackout of 2003, i made an out-of-the-blue comment over lunch to a buddy that the problem in '65 hadn't been fixed, and that there was no reason to believe that we wouldn't have another cascade electrical failure.  My comment surprised us both, and we tried to ignore it.  I mean, it was so unusual. But the following week made ignoring it much more difficult.  I was not able to find any kind of reference i might have heard.  I'd not thought about the '65 event in years. I know very little about how electrical grids work.

But let me say now, for the record, the Bible has it right. And i'm talking about Isaiah 6, and probably the entire book of Jonah, and maybe Job.  Prophesy sucks.  Chris Smither has it right.  "I am not a prophet, and wouldn't be one if you paid me...".  I'd give Randi some cash if he could make it go away.

At least i don't go into a trance like in Harry Potter 3.

You think of something that will happen - and it happens within a minute or a few years?  Or do you predict the actual moment it will happen?  If you could predict the actual moment, that'd be pretty cool - this guy will give you a million bucks to see you do it.  http://www.randi.org  Or if you think of something and later it happens, that's just coincidence - you thought of something that might happen and someday it does.  That's not a talent, that's life.
