If a job that requires customers to be 18 but never comes in physical contact (internet), is it fraud to assume your mothers name to do that work? Wouldn't seem like it to me because you aren't cheating them out of money, you are still doing a good or service for them, right? They WOULD pay you by the way.

  1. Yes it is fraud to use someone else's name.  Your reason for doing it, does not change anything.

    edit-

if the parent consents to your using their name with consent, I think it explains why YOU have a hard time understanding why it is wrong to lie.

  2. It's tax fraud if nothing else.  But your name isn't going to work anyway, they will also want a SSN, and that right there kills the plan when SS informs them the SSN is not valid for that name.

  3. it is only fraud if you are using an alias to defraud people.

not to worry, ask your mom if she is down with you using chat programs to try to get guys to sign up for p**n sites. If she thinks it is OK, then go for it!

maybe she will like the idea so much she will help out!
