  1. I haven't cried in a long time but after i cry the only thing that happens is my eyes feel heavy and they're red.But no swelling.Maybe you rub your eyes when you're wiping tears and that's why they swell.

  2. Sorry thats never happenned to me, so i can't help!

  3. It happens to me but it only lasts for a few hours or even minutes...

  4. This happens to me every time I cry too.  My friend told me to put cold sliced cucumbers on my eyes, for about a couple of minutes, then change them a few times.  The thing is when we cry our eye ducts are open to irritants in the air, causing us to rub our eyes after we cry.  Just always  'pat-dry 'your face and splash cool water on it.  Then, put some cucumber slices over them.  It feels good and the coolness contracts the soft tissue under your eyes making them not so puffy.

  5. yess lol happens to every1!! if u want it to stop u can stop crying and then no more puffyness lol but if u cant control ur crying like me then u will look like a fish

  6. yes it happens to me especially if im crying for hours when i wake up my eyes are puffy and swollen and they hurt and burn.

  7. Its happened to me too, usually when I have cried for a long time.  I splash them with lots of cold water, or soak a face cloth in really cold water and place it over your eyes, I've also used slices of cucumber on them or even cold tea bags, make sure you've squeezed the tea out of them though.  I hope you don't cry too often!

  8. yes it happens to everyone just not that much, run your eyes under cold water

  9. No...

    That's weird.

  10. yes, this does happen to other people, you can stop it by not crying, or i hear putting ice packs on / under your eyes might work, but more importantly: why is this posted under mythology/folklore

  11. no u cant stop it, it just happens to some people, including me

  12. It may be Because of irritation to the eyes

Due to you rubbing them or The salt in your Tears

Go to the Chemist or Supermarket and get your self a bottle of Eye drops

  13. It happens to quite a few people.  I usually lay a very cold wash cloth on my eyes to help reduce the puffiness.  I also wash my face after a particularly hard sob-fest, to get the salt washed away.

  14. hm put some ice or relaxing eye mask and it should be ok ;)
