I went out with my dad to go look at houses around LI and we went to Burger King for lunch. I LOVED Burger King around that time and I got what I usually got-chicken nuggets and fries. Normal fast food meal. We sit for a few minutes, get back in the car and drive around. After about 3 minutes, I just KNOW I'm gonna loose my lunch so my dad pulled over and I hirled. ON SOMEONE'S LAWN. I felt real sick. About two weeks later, we went to a Burger King and I got sick again. Coincidence or the food's fault?

  1. I just recently went to burger king this past spring for the first time in years and there is no reason for me to go there over the other fast food chains. My friend ordered the chicken nuggets and they were shaped in a crown. I know that this is burger king, but wtf seriously they looked disgusting. I took one bite of one his chicken nuggets and I didn't feel very well. It didn't taste like chicken whats so ever. To be honest you should probably never get chicken or fish at any fast food restaurants anymore because of the lack of "actual meat" your getting in these cuts of meat. If you insist on getting chicken you would be better off getting strips or fingers as you actually get more of the chicken substance instead of the breading greese. Many of the fast food chains are striving to provide their customers with ingredients lists of all the food they serve at their restaurant, such as McDonalds. However Burger King does not say what's in their food. These are the ingredients in the McDonalds chicken nuggets listed in order from greatest to least:

White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, chicken flavor (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil, dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary). Battered and breaded with: water, enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, food starch-modified, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, whey, corn starch. Prepared in vegetable oil ((may contain one of the following: Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness), dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent). CONTAINS: WHEAT AND MILK

The burger king nuggets can't differ that much from the McDonalds ones, so that is pretty much the ingridient list. Ovbiously there is something in the chicken nuggets that your stomach doesn't agree with, so its probably a good idea to lay off the chicken nuggets and maybe try the beef instead as many places claim to use 100% pure beef in their burgers. The fries are probably not an issue with your stomach. As they are mostly just potatoes, oil, salt and preservatives. Just because they say the ingridients doesn't mean that their 100% accurate.

  2. Funny, I've been eating fast food for 35 of my 47 years, and done it in all kinds of places and in over twenty countries too, and I've NEVER gotten sick.

I'd be willing to bet that 99.999% of people haven't either.

  3. Sounds like the food...That's why I don't get Burger king

  4. Maybe, you are thinking that fast food is bad, and thus you don't really want to eat it even though you are forcing yourself to eat it.

  5. It could be that you either got a bad case of food poisoning or your stomach can no longer take greasy food.

  6. eekk...def. food poisoning...be careful when you eat there.

  7. could be BK I get sick when i eat at wendys

  8. Mabye it was the food, but I've never got sick after going to Burger King, never mabye its something that just upsets your stomache

  9. If it was the same store I would avoid it.

  10. it had to be the food. i used to work at a bk and known for them to not cook them long enough or let them sit for over 10 mins. i would definitely see the manager or call the corporate office or even the health dept

  11. no way burger king is awesome. haha not really, its not wendys or taco bell. yeah, yo quiero taco bell. (todas los dias) si pero. oh sorry. it's more likely if you haven't had it in a while, and any meals sit better when stationary, like sitting at home and not going anywhere. i've never been car sick or anything like that, im all about the 6 flags new england... so i honestly can't say i relate.

  12. It could be that your body is not use to Burger King because it is unhealthy it can get sick. If it was the same burger king then it is probably the food being prepared the wrong way.

  13. either food poisening or your allergic to something in the food maybe even the plate the food comes in

  14. Sounds like the food...

  15. it is just HAPPENing belive me i know

    goood luck next time

  16. Something in it might not agree with you.  I don't like flame broiling.  Just don't eat there again.

  17. it was the foods fault and if you got sick once and u thought it was the food u should ahve done something about it instead of going back there and getting sick again

  18. That's exactly what happened to me!!!

The day I went to Burger King that day I was very sick and i had a headache for almost 2 days straight!

    It's the Burger King's fault.

  19. I don't think so because BK would have got a lot of complaints from all the people getting sick.  Do you wash your hands before you eat?  It might be that.  I never knew BK even had chicken nuggets !

  20. I don't think it's specifically BK, I think it's all fast food.  This happens to me often if I eat fast food, but it comes out the other end, so I don't eat it anymore.  Just can't handle it, I guess.

  21. This only happenbs to me at Denny's and BK... so i just avoid them... maybe its their oil
