Does this just happen to me?

I know this is weird but when I'm watching a movie or I am seeing someone do something embarrassing I also get embarrassed. like if I am the one making an *** out of myself. I sometimes change the channel or look away its weird I know. Does this happen to you?

I did the same thing and on occassion still do. Your a person who cares what others think about you and when something is inappropriate you don't care to be like that. Just by watching you are knowing its not right for you. And it isnt for you. Its a very good thing to be like this. you are being guided in your life and you know deep inside what is appropriate or non-appropriate. this is to your advantage in life.

This happens to me all the time when I watch TV. If someone like goes up on stage and sings a song embarrassingly, I feel embarrassed for them. Its an odd feeling. It could mean that your a nice person and has sympathy for them. When I was young, I had a new game for the computer that my family bought for me. It was a Dream Wedding game, and in the beginning, the narrator said, "Congratulations! Your getting married! Now lets get started!" My mom was sitting behind me reading the newspaper, I'm not sure if she heard the computer or not, but my face turned so red and I just kept staring at the computer! I don't know why I felt embarrassed though!

no you are really getting into the movie though.  maybe you have done that same thing and are embarrassed about it.  

I have found myself doing the same thing.  i think it is normal.

This DOES happen to me!! Like sometimes when someone is doing something wrong (someone is coming really obviously and the victim is just standing there) I feel like iwant to push them out of the way.

When people get embarrassed so do i, and i squirm into my blankie. XD

My opinion....That's So weird! But you know its probably who your watching tv with at the time that make you feel uncomfortable. Like who wants to sit there and watch a s*x scene with there parents in the room. Also perhaps if its an embarrassing scene like somebody falls in the middle of a public place (just an example) then maybe its embarrassing because you can relate to it. Has it happened to you? I get really embarrased too.  I don't know why.  I guess the same reason I cry in the sad movies.
