  1. You get one idiot to say one thing, the next thing someone else answer back with a stupid thing, next thing you know it's a clusterfuck of idiots screaming every bit of nonsense that comes to their head.

    That's how I got started.

  2. The funniest part of that one is that it's true!  Well, at least her husband was a member of the party in favor of secession from the Union and she attended the convention with him.

  3. We can't let Alaska go peacefully.

Won't somebody please think of the polar bears!

  4. And Mexico still wants Texas Arizona California etc back

  5. It's true and her husband is an oil executive for BP.

  6. It is

I couldn't stop laughing after hearing a lady on C-SPAN..... defending her champion ....the love beauty queen Sarah Palin

Wait till the AIP hit the comedy networks

  7. Palin was never a member of a group with a secessionist objective, but her husband was.

I don't know that I think it's "funny," but there is clear irony in the turn.

If anyone on a Dem ticket had a spouse who had been secessionist for any period of time any where, he or she and the candidate would both have been attacked relentlessly

The Republicans seemed to have no shame in saying repeatedly that Mrs. Obama had used the word "whitey" as a put down, even though there is absolutely no evidence that such a statement was ever made.  When the Democrats protested, the reply was that if they couldn't take the heat, they should not be in the race.  Yet when Gov. Palin is questioned about what appear to be fact based points, the result is labeled a "smear" by the Republicans.

The selection of a vice president isn't going to be a determinant in who I will or will not vote for, but it does reflect "judgment."  I would say that Biden's selection reflects much more positively on Obama than McCain's selection of Palin does on McCain.

  8. Laugh all you want but it is true.

Palin WAS involved in the movement to separate Alaska from the U.S.
