Okay, I know this kid who is in the 11th grade and is made fun of constantly by his peers and teachers. Why, b/c:

1.) he has hygenie problems and he is very ugly

2.) his hair stinks

3.) his breathe stinks

4.) he barely does his work

5.) he doesn't have any friends

6.) and he hides out in the bathroom during lunch

Its pretty sad. I mean yeah he should take better care of himself, but he kind of suffers from depression and his parents really aren't doing anything to help him even though they have more than enough money to do it. So does he really deserve to be verbal abused everyday? Yeah he stinks but nobody should be critized everyday.

  1. i think the school should be helping more than encourage the problem. its how we end up with suicide because ppl didnt think before they speak and lend a helping hand instead of abusing

he obviously needs counciling or see his dr for help.

ppl let themself go when they get depressed and feel the wayhe prob does

can u imagine how miserable he is.

  2. no one should be made fun of everyday. His home life must not be up to par . The parents sound like that they don't give to craps about him. It's sad! This should scare you what if he would plan an attack on all the people  that made fun of him.  they wouldn't be making fun of him then. I hate the school system because they never do anything for the bulling like they say they do and they never do anything for the underdog to help them have a better life. What is wrong with this picture!!

  3. why dont you help him to boost his self esteem..

or refer him to a social worker to give her advice..

you may also report the teachers who criticize him because in the first place they should be the one who will help that kid..

that kid only needs friend whom he can depend on and talk to.. try to talk to him, you may be his blessing! you may be the right person to help him, GOD is talking to you to help him..

  4. No. The teachers especially shouldn't be making fun of him, they should be reporting his parents to the authorities for neglect. I'm startled it's not a requirement for them to do so.

  5. why would someone deserve to be made fun of?  Talk to him about his problems, help him out.

  6. no one deserves to be made to endure verbal abuse ever.  it is wrong and we are all guilty of it.  we should try to find a way to help these that we would normally make fun of.

  7. People should not make fun of him. Poor guy...I also can't belive teachers would make fun of him. Teachers that make fun of students should be fired. I hope this helped.

  8. No he should not.  He obviously needs help.  You should talk to the administrators of your school, your principal or a guidance counselor about what is going on so that he can get the help that he needs.

  9. no one deserves to be made fun of

  10. Everyone gets made fun of in one time if their life but they shouldn't be made fun of everyday. He doesn't deserve to be treated that way but people can be very mean. People probably don't think that maybe he's depressed and nobody wants to help him. They just think of him as that kid and the teachers shouldn't do that either.

  11. no, he does not deserve this.

if his hygeine problem is so apparent, a teacher needs to get involved and call social workers.

hygiene issue isn't just nasty its also a red flag for a huge problem.

  12. No one deserves to be made fun of!!

  13. No one should be verbally abused. He is probably poor and tries to hide it by being obnoixious. help him instead of hurting him.  One day, he might appreciate that from you. And oh by the way, those are the types that come in the school and blow everybody away,so be nice to him and help him out with hygiene tips take up for him and discourage others from teasing him, you will get a smile from God!

  14. I used to WORK with a guy like that. He was young. Maybe 25. We had no idea what to do about him. We kept leaving anonymous care packages with soap, laundry detergent and deodorant on his desk. He never got the hint. At some point he had a medical problem and wen to the Dr. They referred him out and it turned out he had depression. He was taking some kind of medicine. I believe it was Prozac. Next thing you know he's clean. He's working better. He got a girl friend. He started taking college classes again.

I think this kid needs some kind of advocate to talk to his parents. They may not know how to handle it or they're too busy and ignore him. Either way, it might be a good idea to call someone. Child Protective Services or something. Even if they don't find his home life a problem, it might jar the parents into action.

Try to be a friend to him. Let him know he's not alone.

    Good luck.

  15. No, nobody should be criticized like that.  Nobody knows what people are going through in their everyday lives, what can set someone over the edge...This kid really needs to talk to the principal or something, and get those teachers AND kids in a lot of trouble.

  16. no it sounds like he's neglected

  17. I do not believe anyone SHOULD be made fun of by peers or adults.  Depression is a serious illness and nobody with it ( or any other illness) deserves this kind of treatment.

  18. nobody deserves that, not even him...

and his teachers shouldn't make fun of him... they dont deserve to be teachers if they do that... and, since he's only in 11th grade, his parents should AT LEAST react by talking to the teachers or transferring him to another school...

if he's showing those kinds of behavior, then it probably means that his environment is not effective enough for him to learn the basic everyday routines of a person... most especially in his home...

  19. Sounds like maybe he has more issues than his appearance. I see kids like this a lot. He sounds like maybe he could have an emotional disability. Be the person who can show kindness to him. Meet with his teachers and the counselor as well. It would be nice if things improved for him this school year.

To answer your question, it is never o.k. to make fun of someone. Maybe you should go to your principal about the issue.

  20. I think that is sooo sad!  Maybe you can step up and try to help him out with some things.  And I would go to the counselor or principal and try to get them involved.  That is really sad about the parents.
