I understand what the other people are saying, but it's never wise to minimize cutting or make assumptions.

There are many people who only cut once or a few times but they are probably suffering just as much as someone who does it repeatedly or somewhere hidden.

Honestly, if you're worried about this person, perhaps coming to her and voicing your concern or just asking if she is alright is a better answer than trying to solve the mystery yourself.

No. I doesn't look like it.

People that self-mutilate will usually try to cut themselves in a place that is easy to hide, and more commonly on the inside of the wrist than the outside. That is only one cut and it slants like it was an accident.
