Does this look okay? (Pictures)?

Question

I posted this earlier, but it got deleted..so here's my new hermit crabs home. Is there anything else that I need? I have salt and fresh water, but that you cant tell if I have that in there, so does it look like I need anything else? (And i have the necessary temp and humidity gauges)

Its not much, but its a start, and much better than the KK. I need lil more sand though, but I ran out.

And here are my four hermies. One in the painted shell (eh..he wont get out lol), The yellow shell, and the two blackish shells. You can even see one pretty well compared to others.

And, yes, I know hermit crabs arent reptiles, but in "Other" most of the people deal with fluffy creatures haha.

That is a spectacular home. It is much better than those teeny plastic cages most people get. That is so great the way you decorated it with the plants and it must look great in your house. I love it!! :0)

Have you thought about adding a full second level. That might give the crabs more space to use.

What I did for mine was get a triangle shaped corner shower caddy. I used a blob of aquarium sealer to each of the suction cups to firmly secure it to the tank. Then I used some plastic to cover the holes and filled the little shelf with coconut fibre. Added some netting so they could get up to it and they loved it.

The second level gives them more space to explore and places to hide under it.

You can remove it if need be but the aquarium sealer really helps secure it to the tank. I find with high humidity regular suction cups don't always work. And it looks like you have fair sized crabs ( I love Purple pincers)

I hope your buddy in the painted shell changes soon.

yes tht is like hermit crab heaven just give them lost of exercise like a wire climbing wall or  they could die
