  1. well its u r car so do what ever you want i personally like loud music and want my system to bump but not just bass i want to hear the words too

  2. kids in my neighborhood didnt buy theres...

cool, deaf, or gone in 30 seconds.........

  3. It only looks rediculous if your system is distorting at high volumes and your trunk lid is vibrating louder than the bass.

  4. Subs are a great addition to any system.  The addition of some low end can make the listening experience much more enjoyable, even at low volumes.

Unfortunately many people give car stereos a bad name by being rude to their neighbors.  If you want to enjoy your bass at damaging levels, do it on the freeway where you neighbors don't have to tolerate your noise pollution.  :)

(Yes, I have a bumping system... I'm not some crazy old guy ranting...)

  5. its cool man who cares what everyone else thinks if you think its cool its cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do its funny when your banging and the person in front of you looks around and says what the XXck !!!!!!

  6. I'llm give you my opinion and story.

I had a Honda CRX with a cranking pounding system in it, I could bounce silver dollars and half dollars almost a full inch off the roof. but it was still pretty clear, at least not at full volume. I still like good sound systems but I do have trouble with hearing loss and its no fun asking people to repeat themselves. when I hear a BOOM BOOM car, I think, does

(S)HE realize what theey are doing to themslves.

  7. LOL, I just LOVE that! I would love to actually see a car like that! I try and bribe the person to let me buy their car from them

  8. the point is not to "look" cool. how does it sound? do you like how it sounds? and properly installed system should not rattle the body pannels to the point you can hear the rattling 4 blocks away. when you don't hear any rattling, but just feel the vibration when standing 50 feet away, you know you did it right.

really, rattling is from the vibration. and vibration means you have a loss of sound. try and control as much of it as you can by using good soundeading and body panel bracing techniques.
