Does this make sence? result section for a science experiment?

Several factors were observed, the dirt appeared to be a very rough substance but grass seemed to slow down the object more because of their volume compared to the grains of dirt.

if it dosnt what would make it better?

If this is about slowing down an object, depending on the type of surface, it should clearly state which surface does so more and which does less. Is it possible to put a number on it? To end with a statement that "grass slows it down xx% more then dirt"?

this is all right but you should try to include some statistical information like time taken using different volumes
