Does this make sense? just because we call water water doesn't mean it is water?

  2. Well, you can call it what ever you want to call it. It's totally up to you. But be aware that if you do decide to call it grublug or paldoro or whatever your little mind have zeroed in on you are going to be explaining to everyone else what you are asking for or talking about because 99.9% of the world will still be calling it water and will have no clue what you are talking about.

    As for me, it isn't worth the hassle to be 'unique' and call a ball a buggerboo.

  3. If you are going after that we make up models to represent reality in our heads and we attach words to those models, like "chairs" or "kittens" or in this case "water", and that those models aren't "reality" then yes that does make sense.

    Our model of "water" isn't necessarily what the thing we call "water" is, its just some c**p we made up.

    Other than that, you'll need to be more specific on what you are going after.  People having difficulty understanding something can easily be as much of a fault on the presentation of the something as its inherent difficulty in the concept of the something to grasp.
