Does this mean I'm going to advanced art?

On my schedule for school it says: M/J ART/ART APPREC 4. Does that mean it's only for one quarter of the year or the whole year? And is it advanced? Thanks!

Every school has its own set of abbreviations, so it's hard to say what that means.

But when I see "ART APPREC 4" I think it's the 4th course in a series, like 4th year art appreciation.

But then again, the 4 could just be the section number or maybe the exact class, like Medieval Art Appreciation.

Does your school have a website? Maybe it has an online course catalog that will tell you.
