  1. depends wat way u put em e.g

    3&gt;2 but 2&lt;3. just look at the &lt; ,&gt; as shark mouths the shark will go for the bigger &quot;fish&quot; so the &quot;shark&quot; will go for the 3 in both casses as its bigger number

    x&lt;y

    y is bigger than x

    x&gt;y

    x is bigger than y

    think of it as the narrow side/point of the &gt;&lt; sign is the smaller number and the wide side the big number

  4. We&#039;re talking mathematics here, so let&#039;s be a bit more precise...numbers are not &quot;bigger&quot; or &quot;smaller&quot; than one another...the symbols mean &quot;greater than&quot; or &quot;less than&quot;.

    &lt; means less than, and &gt; means greater than, for example 2&lt;5 means two is less than five.

  5. &gt; means greater than and &lt; means smaller than...

    eg. 5 &gt; 3 and 3 &lt; 5
