  1. nah i was measuring big all through my pregnancy and baby was just over 6lb some grow fast then slow down towards the end everyone is different good luck with the new arrival

  2. It can mean that the baby is big but it can also mean the baby was just laying in a funny position. With my first pregnancy I measured around 2 1/2 weeks more than I should have. I was induced 1 week early and she weighed 8lbs 13oz. I am now 37 weeks with a boy I am measuring on time but they are saying he is already 8lbs 6oz.

  3. No, I measured small for my son, could wear my regular jeans up till 7 1/2 months, and he ended up just over 8 lbs. Now 36 weeks pregnant with twin girls doctor says just by measuring I look about 38 weeks pregnant with one, but by ultrasound they are of very good size, 5 1/2 and 6 lbs as of right now. I think its all in how you carry, both of my pregnancies have been very internal. At 2 months with the twins to bend over I couldn't breath because I was carrying them high under my rib cage.

  4. im not really sure, your due date may just be wrong....

  5. It could just mean that your baby is a bit longer for 17 wks but he still wouldnt have much fat stores on his body, theres a difference between a longer baby and a heavier baby.

Your baby could have just had a growth spurt and his growth will probably slow down towards the end,

Is it a possibilty your due date is wrong?

  6. Not necessarily. You could also just have a lot of water. At an Ultra Sound they should somewhat be able to tell the size of the Baby.
