Does this mean that I have ovulated or will I ovulate soon?

I went to the doctor today and they told me that i had a cyst forming on my right ovary. Does this mean that I already ovulated or what? I was supposed to ovulate on Monday according to fertility friend. I am trying to conceive and I am just curious. If I formed a cyst does this mean my ovulation wasn't successful?

No it just means if the cyst can mature to the right size it will rupture and your egg will emerge if all goes well you should ovulate within the next 5 days so to be safe get busy girl :-)
