i dreamt that i was good friends with this small child he was just about four,we hang out and played together,he looked every thing like my ex boyfriend only blue eyes and smaller.after his mom was taking him home he begin to cry his mom was really nice and she liked me,i then collected his number.the other morning when i woke during the day the dream came back to me i then realized that the number i received was my ex boyfriend number,what does that mean please help

I don't know the circumstances of why you and your ex broke up, but here's my interpretation of your dream -

The small child is your ex-boyfriend, only he's represented in the dream as a small child because I think that reflects that he's spiritually not as mature as you are.  However, you were still good friends and his mom liked you and was nice.  And, the part where you collected his number, I think that means he does still want to be with you.  So, I think it's a situation in which you are the mature one betwen the two of you, and although he wants you back, he needs to develop more spiritually first to be on par with your level.
