Does this name flow for my son?

Question

Well i'm 30 weeks having a son...i love the first name Darlin (yes Darlin like how a hillbilly would say Darling) and my favored middle name is Cristobal (mind you it is a spanish name pronounced cree-sto-ball) So does Darlin Cristobal Gomez flow?? Should i add another middle name? I was also thinking of Andres, Valerio, Lorenzo, & Antonio-i like ethnic names... I loved Darlin Rene Cristobal but i got so much feed back from you guys that it was too femine or you loved it but thought i was havin a girl! lol but then my hubby was like thank god i feel that way too...guess he was scared i'll go hormonal on him lol...so what do you guys think any advice on a second middle name if it doesn't flow?

I agree with everyone here... Darlin is just a horrific name to give a boy. Really just painful to even think about. ... i'm shocked that your husband is agreeing to it... mine would have thought i was nuts.

Anway: it goes. maybe the poor kid will just have people call him "Cris".

please do not name your son Darlin.. that sounds like a girls name.  I love Antonio ...that sounds like a stronger name.

No offense, but I really don't think your son will appreciate growing up with the name "Darlin."  He will teased endlessly about it.

Darlin Antonio sounds better. Cristobal is very... unique, I don't care for it. But if you like Cristobal, then you should name him that. I think it is cool that you like ethnic names, and Darlin gorws on.

Ok you made it clear that YOU love the name Darlin, but what about your son and his feelings when he gets older? He will HATE that name because he will probably get teased. But youve heard this all before.

I guess both names go fine together

I love the name Andres,  why don't you have Darlin be the middle name, otherwise he will get made fun of horribly.  Also, it would be nice to your husband to not name him Darlin.

So, Andres Darlin

or

Antonio Darlin

or

Lorenzo Darlin

or just call him Darlin and leave that OUT of his name!! He's going to want to keep it a secret.

Please do not name your son Darlin.  Or he will get ridiculed or even bullied in school.  I like the name Antonio.  But I'm not to sure your son would appreciate the name Cristobal, either.  Try Antonio Lorenzo for a first and middle name combination.

Darlin sounds quite feminine I would say choose a more masculin first name and use Darlin or Cristobal for a middle name.

How about Darren or Darien instead of Darlin - it sounds more masculine. I like Cristobal for a middle name, and I think it flows ok.

To answer your question, yes it flows. And no, you should not add another name in there- itjust gets ridiculous when you've got 3 or 4 names, not including the last name.

BUT, seriously consider if you want to name him Darlin. Yes, it is a cute name, but he WILL without a doubt be teased. Kids these days are vicious and you're honestly just giving him another reason to be teased. Even though you love the name, you're child will be unhappy with it and he will suffer and get upset all because of the name you chose. I understand that you like the name but with all due to respect, please, for his sake, do not name him Darlin. I'm talking from experience- I've been teased plenty because of my name and it was awful. I'm a more shy person because of it. Pleaseee, strongly reconsider naming him Darlin. Name him an ethnic name if you wish, but nothing that will cause him to be teased.
